In just a few short days, couples will celebrate Valentine’s Day. The time between Christmas and Valentine’s Day is a popular time for couples to get engaged. Consequently, we get a lot of calls for summer weddings.
Be sure to check out our wedding DJ services for all your DJ entertainment needs!

Second semester begins for most schools. Finals being over mark the halfway point until the end of the school year. For our high school seniors, that means graduation! And with graduation, that means prom!
We haven’t been filling in bubbles on scantrons or writing term papers, but we’re also looking to this year’s prom season and including new features.

Far from the first DJ to go digital, we’ve taken a backseat to the developments in the industry and stuck with the CD platform… until 2010.
Does this matter to you as the customer? Not really. The tools we use to deliver music to your event are just that… tools. A hammer is more or less a hammer and so long as the nail goes into the board, the hammer achieved its mission. Conceptually, this is how we view music playback… whether it be from CD or MP3/digital.
So why the move to digital then? The move to digital will make our performance more efficient. I won’t have the books of CDs I had previously taking up space in the DJ area. Since the late 90s, I’ve had a laptop to reference my CD library to help find songs, but going digital makes that process of loading up song requests even quicker.
By taking a back seat to going digital, we’ve learned from our colleagues. The early digital DJs were concerned about hard drive space. We know now, you can get 1TB for around $100. But early DJs had to maximize their hard drive space which meant many either spent a fortune on multiple hard drives or they ripped their music at a low quality rate.
Just with any change, it’ll take a little getting used to. But I look forward to not having to thumb through books of music for the titles at an event. It’s one less thing to haul into a venue… one less in the DJ area.
We’re happy to go fully digital in 2010!
